We Built This - A Cultural Evening of Art, Music & Identity Three months ago, we walked into a room together for the first time. Look at what we built. On Sunday 27th September, TESA closes its inaugural Bolton summer series with The Harvest — an evening that celebrates not just the art on the wall, the music on the stage, or the fabric on the rail, but the community that showed up, kept showing up, and made all of it possible. We Built This is the most important evening of the series. Not because it is the last — but because it is the proof. Proof that Bolton's African and diaspora community will fill a room built for them. Proof that culture rooted in African heritage has a home in this city. Proof that when Àyòọba and TESA say "we are building something" — they mean it. The evening brings the full summer arc to life — a final artist showcase featuring voices from across the series, a closing Sip & Paint celebration, the complete Àyòọba collection, and an announcement of what comes next.
